NextWindow DVD Touch Interactive Multi-Media

NextWindow's 2403 Touch Screen works with Pioneer DVD players to
enable exciting interactive video presentations.
NextWindow provides the clear glass overlay that makes the
display screen touch sensitive. You can then deliver custom video presentations with multi-layer menus that can be activated by
touching the screen.
The DVD player provides a robust and economical way to play the interactive video.
The media can be easily updated and duplicated for multiple installations.
A computer is required to configure the touch screen, but once set up,
the interactive display requires just the touch screen, display and DVD player to
play the video.

Setting up NextWindow DVD Interactive Video
Requirements
To set up a touch-enabled interactive DVD, you need the following:
For all models
|
Computer. For example, a laptop, for
configuring the touch screen. |
|
NextWindow's USB Config program, which can be downloaded from
NextWindow Software
as part of the Touch+ software suite.
|
|
Serial cable suitable for connecting the DVD player to the touch screen.
|
For DVD-V5000 and DVD-V8000
In addition to the above requirements, these models need a special graphic
that can be displayed on screen for calibration purposes.
(Note: The example files provided below may not be suitable for all
resolutions and types of display screens.)

A video file to display a static test picture.

CD burning software to create a video CD (VCD) disk.

Overview
There are four parts to setting up the touch screen to work with the DVD player:

Make a test CD to display a static picture (DVD-V5000 only).

Configure the touch screen.
|
|
Connect the touch screen to the DVD player.
|
|
Calibrate the touch screen.
