NextWindow - Increase Camera Exposure Time

This procedure applies to NextWindow TouchEngine2 serial products only.

Run the TouchEngine2 Config program.

To increase the camera exposure time select Adv.

Select Scope

Select the Terminal Button towards the top of the Scope screen to go into Terminal mode.

To increase the signal the command is:

C [SHUTTER_TIME] [NUM_FRAMES_ADDED]

Press Enter

Examples using this command:

Here is an example when C30 2 is used (C30 2 press Enter) .

This looks too low.

Changing to C30 4 (press Enter) doubles the signal. See the example below.

This is good.

Here is an example using C40 4 (press Enter)

Again: the command is

C [SHUTTER_TIME] [NUM_FRAMES_ADDED]

Press Enter

To keep the setting, type: W2408

Press Enter

A start up beep will occur at this time.

Check to see if the settings have been saved by closing and starting again.
