Microsoft WinHEC 2008, Taipei
9th to 10th December, 2008
At WinHEC 2008, Microsoft unveiled the latest development of
Windows 7, including the specifications, Multi-Touch user
interface and USB 3.0.
There were four main themes to WinHEC 2008:
Windows Fundamentals
Windows architectural advances and new functionality providing the
core foundation for system design, innovation, and quality.
Windows Server 2008
Multi-core, 64-bit, faster networking and storage, and robust server
architectures.
Client Systems and Technologies
Development for new shape and applications of PC and device.
Windows Driver Fundamentals
Core Driver Models and Tools Platform for developing, testing, and
deploying Windows drivers.
NextWindow was a Gold Sponsor of the show and exhibited their
latest touch screens.

The Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) is the
annual trade show and
conference where Microsoft reveals its hardware plans for
Microsoft Windows-based PCs.
This year, WinHEC focused on the upcoming Windows 7, and
immediately followed the PDC 2008 Conference at the same
venue.
NextWindow exhibited their latest touch screens at the show.
KioskCom Self Service Expo 2008
16th to 17th April, 2008
Mandalay Bay Convention Center Las Vegas, NV, USA
KioskCom Self Service Expo provides a focused medium on
self-service technology and interactive digital media, including
kiosks, digital signage, and self-checkout.
NextWindow's booth featured their touchscreens and also

NextWindow at CeBIT 2008

NextWindow recently exhibited their large and small touchscreens at CeBIT, the
biggest trade show for ICT worldwide.
NextWindow always had a crowd in attendance, especially watching
the multi-touch demonstrations. Two touch and interactive whiteboard
applications plus the visible growth in demand for interactive
Digital Signage, meant staff were always busy.
Frank Lamprecht from NextWindow's German partner,
Interactive Displays, was on hand and met with most of
the German-speaking visitors.
Press coverage was excellent, with several TV and web channels filming
demonstrations and conducting interviews. Click the link below

Digital Signage Expo
27th to 28th February 2008
NextWindow enjoyed outstanding success at the recent Digital Signage
Expo, which is a leading technology showcase and
educational event in America.
NextWindow was the most prevalent large touch screen manufacturer
at the show, featuring in 9 separate partner's booths and a
wayfinding kiosk at the front of the show.
